EF Language Travel

Summer language and activity programs for students ages 7 to 18

EF Language Travel, our original program, combines and exciting adventure abroad with an invaluable educational experience. Language Travel students travel abroad in chaperoned groups, live with a local host family or in a student residence and improve their language skills during their summer or school holidays.

EF organizes everything from start to finish: transportation, host family or residential accommodation, a carefully structured language course, cultural excursions and study visits—not to mention a wide range of sports and social activities.

EF International Language Schools

Intensive language study for students ages 16 and older

EF International Language Schools provide young adults with exceptional language instruction abroad in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian or Chinese. Courses run from two to 52 weeks for students of all levels and abilities. The curriculum is based on the exclusive Efekta™ System, developed by EF’s Research and Development Team. The Efekta™ System accelerates language learning by combining personalized teaching with state-of-the-art technology.

EF International Language Schools operate in more than 40 cities in 18 countries. Our schools are always in the best locations, whether a renovated mansion in the heart of a city or a converted art-deco hotel on the beach.

EF Academic Year Abroad

Six or nine months of combined language and academic studies for students ages 16 and older

EF Academic Year Abroad offers young adults six or nine moths of language and cultural studies. Courses begin with intensive language training. As communication skills improve, the curriculum broadens to include academic and special interest classes such as literature, exam preparation, business and the media. Students also gain valuable work experience through our internship program.

During their program, Academic Year Abroad students form a close-knit community. They return home with fluency in another language, deep understanding of another culture, friends from all over the world and international work experience.
