Mick Davies

BA, Simon Frasier University, British Columbia; MA Cambridge University, UK.

Mick Davies was educated at Hull and Cambridge Universities and has been with EF Brittin College for nearly 20 years. He is a skilled and popular teacher at our school in Cambridge. Mick also works as a test writer and examiner for The University of Cambridge, which helps him keep up to date with the latest happenings in the university world.

Erin Alefounder

BA, Simon Frasier University, British Columbia

Erin has been working at EF in Vancouver for nearly 2 years and working with University Placement as long. After completing her studies Erin traveled throughout Asia including a two year stay in Taiwan where she taught English and surfing! Erin teaches TOEFL preparation as well as various University Preparation Courses. Erin also advises students on their post-secondary options and helps students gain acceptance into one of our partner institutions. Erin is an invaluable resource at the Vancouver school and she is very happy to be working with Brittin students. Lastly Erin is excited to be working towards her Master’s degree in Education.

Julie Loveless

BA English, University of New Hampshire

Ms. Loveless brings to EF Brittin College Prep Boston not only six years of experience, but also an international perspective. Living and teaching abroad gave her in-depth knowledge of ESL, and she provides TOEFL test preparation to her EF students. She also has extensive information on the American education system which makes her a valuable resource for EF Brittin College students on their pathway to pursuing higher education in the US.

Sally Heane

BA Arts, Metropolitan Business College Sydney and Macquarie University; Cert TEFLA

Sally has worked for EF Brittin College Sydney for over five years, bringing with her a further five years of experience from the TESOL industry prior to that. In her current role as EF Brittin College Coordinator, she welcomes students from all over the world on to the school’s academic programmes. She is dedicated to making sure students succeed in their language learning, cultural education and university preparation. Sally has an extensive knowledge of the Australian education system and is a valuable resource for students wishing to pursue their education here.

Peter Northcott

BSc and PhD Cambridge, University

With a first in Natural Sciences from Clare College, Cambridge University, followed by further PhD studies at Cambridge, and as a widely respected authority in his field, Peter Northcott is perfectly suited to his role at EF Brittin College. Dr Northcott is the leaderof our Sciences programmes and the main teacher of the Dissertation Development pathway. A committed and enthusiastic educator, Peter’s strengths as a teacher are in identifying students’ needs, and in getting them to aim high in their ambitions.

Renate Reichardt

MBA, Manchester University, Cert. in Marketing, University of CA Berkeley, Dipl. Print and Advertising, Stuttgart

Renate is one of our most experienced teachers in EF Brittin College Cambridge. She has extensive business experience in marketing and worked for a number of years as an International Marketing Manager for a well-known corporation. Her hands-on professional experience together with her MBA, makes her a very popular teacher with the business students on our University Foundation Year and Pre-Masters/MBA Programmes.

Fran Riga

PhD Cambridge University

Fran Riga divides her time between research at the University of Cambridge where she is a fellow, and teaching the Numeracy, Mathematics and Psychology programmes at EF Brittin College Cambridge. Fran produces amazing results year on year at EF Brittin College through dedication to her craft as a teacher, and her inspirational passion for her subjects.

Mark Bournat

BSc Politics, University of Southampton, UK

Mark is a teacher of Mathematics and Economics components. Before joining EF Brittin College, Mark worked for the University of Hanover in Germany and in various finance roles for companies such as Nestle and Barclays Group. Mark tries to incorporate specific examples from his business experience into his teaching.
