Word of Advice:I took a language course with EF because I wanted to improve my French before my A-Level exam.

I had an amazing time in Nice and didn't want to leave! My teacher Sabine was excellent, always willing to help and she made my lessons really enjoyable.

The activities and excursions with EF were great. I went on an excursion every day. I went to Monte Carlo in Monaco with the school which was an exciting day trip and a brilliant way to socialise with the other students. My friends and I went on trips to Cannes, Antibes, Juan les Pins and other places which was a good way to see more of France. And when I had time, the beach was a favourite spot for lying in the sun, swimming and meeting up with the other students. Every evening there was something exciting going on, whether it was a beach party, karaoke or just going out for a meal, the fun just never stopped.

My experience with the host family was also very good and I felt extremely lucky. I was placed in a host family where the family members were delightful and fun to be around. And the location was perfect in the centre of the city. My French improved a lot because there were 4 students staying in the same host family and to speak French was the only way to communicate with each other.

The city of Nice was lovely. I loved the beach and the shops during the day and the huge variety of bars and restaurants at night. The beautiful gardens and fountains everywhere were amazing and I loved the fact that it was easy to walk everywhere. I am most definitely going to keep in touch with people I met on the course. I met a few students from London and we have already made plans to meet up when we all get back. I also met people from all over the world and I have exchanged contact details with all of them to make sure we keep in touch in the future. I would definitely recommend an EF course to a friend or anyone who is looking for a fantastic experience!
