Return home with a full portfolio of official proof demonstrating your international work experience recognised by employers, universities and governments worldwide. By completing the programme, you will also be eligible for the EF Certificate of International Internship, stating that EF programmes are also certified by Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU).
Internship students in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand will receive the prestigious Cambridge Certificate in Work Experience. This recognises successful completion of the internship programme consisting of preparation, completion of a workbook and an international work placement.

Work, learn and explore – you will experience your host culture in a whole different way with the EF Internship Programme!Working in a part-time unpaid role, you will develop industry specific language skills, build a personal network, and explore your potential by working alongside native speakers. At the end of your programme your perspectives will be global; your CV more attractive; your attitudes international and your language skills will be ready for the real world!
Ideal preparation
Designed to familiarise you with local working culture, this ortion of the programme gives you the skills needed to make the most out of your internship. Participate in a series of workshops ranging from Interview Skills to CV writing, along with attending guest lectures and educational visits from a selection of industry representatives. Depending on country a programme may vary from eight to nine weeks in length.
Semester plus 12 week internship option
For those who prefer an even longer internship you can study a semester at Manchester, London, Brighton or Sydney and opt for a 12 week Internship Programme. This will enable you to gain further insight and experience in the workplace.
